Collection: Islands

The six islands off the Scottish mainland, known as the Whisky Isles, each boast their own whisky-making tradition. These are the islands of Arran, Jura, Skye, Mull, Orkney, and Lewis. Together, they host seven distilleries. And when one considers that around 200 years ago, there were reportedly some 50 distilleries on the Isle of Arran alone, this number seems rather small today. However, be that as it may, this does not diminish the quality of the island whiskies. On the contrary: these noble spirits are still of absolutely outstanding quality. The exceptional quality and the subtly salty character, due to the sea air, form the common thread that connects these whiskies. Otherwise, however, they possess very unique flavour profiles.
