The Tobermory 12 Years Old is a classic single malt from the Isle of Mull and the unpeated counterpart to the smoky Ledaig series from the Tobermory Distillery. The distillery is known for its artisanal style and the combination of maritime influences with fruity elegance. Bottled at 46.3% vol., non-chill-filtered and natural color, this whisky offers an authentic and balanced taste experience.
The whisky matured predominantly in American ex-bourbon casks, which impart its fresh fruitiness, vanilla, and a pleasant malty sweetness. The long maturation period provides additional depth and a harmonious structure.
Nose: Fresh citrus fruits, apple, vanilla, honey and a light maritime note.
Taste: Smooth and balanced with sweet malt, caramel, pear, spices and a subtle salty nuance.
Finish: Medium-long, fresh and slightly spicy with fine sweetness and a maritime aftertaste.
