Collection: India
According to Indian mythology, gods and demons churned the ocean in ancient times with the help of mountains. Suddenly, a golden pot containing the so-called elixir of life, named Amrut, emerged from the sea. The birth of modern Amrut is dated to 1948, after the end of British colonial rule. From then on, Indians began to distill their own whisky, which you can purchase in our whisky shop. The name "Fusion" for this Amrut comes from the Indian and Scottish barley used to produce the whisky. Due to British colonial rule, the Indian population came into contact with whisky early on. At the same time, Indians thus had the best teachers in terms of whisky production and whisky storage.
