Jura Single Malt Red Wine Cask Finish 40% vol. 0.7 Liters

The Jura Distillery is remotely located on the island of the same name on Scotland's west coast. It is known for its accessible, softer island whiskies with maritime influences and a modern style. For decades, the small community of Craighouse has been producing whisky with character and island typicality.

This bottling was matured in ex-bourbon casks and then finished in European red wine casks. This combination brings fruity depth and elegant spice to the whisky, as well as an attractive color. At 40% vol., it is mild, well-rounded, and perfect for daily enjoyment.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Ripe red berries, vanilla, cherries, and a hint of oak.

• Palate: Soft and fruity with notes of dark grapes, sweet malt, spices, and a touch of toffee.

• Finish: Medium length, fruity-spicy with a fine wine note and subtle sweetness.
