The Highland Park Viking Heart 15 Year Old is to be added to Highland Park Distillery's core range.
It matures for 15 years in American oak (first and second fill) sherry casks.
The Viking Heart 15 is then bottled at 44% vol. alcohol in a ceramic bottle.
Tasting Notes:
Nose: Surprisingly sweet and somewhat spicy.
Taste: Mild, gradually developing a malty sweetness, subtle fruit, vanilla, honey and light smoke on the palate.
Finish: Long finish with sweet-malty notes and fiery pepper.
