The Highland Park Distillery on the Orkney Islands was founded in 1798 and is one of Scotland's oldest distilleries. Its whiskies are characterized by a harmonious style that combines sweet sherry notes with light peat smoke and maritime influences. The Highland Park 12 Year Old Viking Honour is the distillery's flagship and a tribute to the Viking past of the Orkneys.
The whisky matured in sherry-seasoned European and American oak casks, which gives it complexity, warmth, and a balanced structure. Bottled at 40% vol., it is soft, aromatic, and versatile.
