Westland Sherry Wood American Single Malt 46% vol.

The Westland Distillery is located in Seattle, Washington, USA. They deliberately chose
not to produce Bourbon, but rather to focus on the
American Single Malt Whiskey category. They founded and lead the ASMW Commission,
which currently includes 110 distilleries.
Since its founding in January 2010, the distillery has placed the highest value on quality.
Every single malt is made from 100% malted barley. The distillate is only
distilled up to 80% vol. For maturation, only barrels with a
maximum capacity of 700 liters are used.

Tasting Notes:

Nose: Rich notes of dried fruits like raisins and figs, accompanied by chocolate, nuts, and a hint of spicy oak.

Palate: Full-bodied with a sweet blend of sherry fruits, honey, and vanilla. Fine spice notes and a slight citrus freshness are also present.

Finish: Long-lasting, soft and spicy, with lingering notes of dried fruits and a light oak wood note.
