Tomatin Legacy 0.7 l

The Tomatin Legacy matured in a combination of casks that previously matured Bourbon and in so-called Virgin Oak casks. It was launched in March 2013 and has since been part of Tomatin's standard range.

Tasting 1

Nose: Vanilla pod, marshmallow, sponge cake and fresh pineapple with mixed lemon and candies. Palate: Light and delicate with sugary sweetness and peppery notes of pine. Lemonade, pineapple and crisp green apples with a hint of baked sponge cake. Finish: Clean, light and refreshing. Tasting Notes from Tomatin Distillery

Tasting 2

On the nose, it is not typical of Tomatin. Less fruity than the 21-year-old, due to less sherry influence. Somewhat alcoholic with young, strong malt and woody hints of fresh pine and balanced Bourbon. In addition, there are dough-like notes. On the palate, it is light to medium-bodied, very enjoyable and with a slight peppery kick. Sweet, malty barley notes unfold with hints of a very young whisky. The finish lasts longer than expected.
