The Balvenie 14 Years Caribbean Cask 43% vol. 0.7 l

The Balvenie Caribbean Cask matured for 14 years in American Oak casks and was then allowed to rest for about 5 months in casks that previously stored Caribbean rum.

Tasting 1

Nose: Rich and sweet with creamy toffee and fresh fruit. Palate: Well-balanced with vanilla and sweet oak. Fruity, developing character. Finish: Soft and long-lasting. Tasting Notes from Balvenie

Tasting 2

Nose: Rich vanilla with butterscotch and fudge cake pieces. Fruit aromas: sun-dried, preserved pineapple, passion fruit, orange cream, baked peaches in spicy syrup and kiwi. Fresh notes of sweet and large foam bananas (British confectionery). With the addition of water, hints of cotton candy and fresh sawdust appear. Palate: Incredibly smooth with perceptible notes of toffee and fudge. Thick fruits and spices, including cinnamon, nutmeg and perhaps some ginger. Spiced wood with star anise.
