The name DoubleWood refers to the double cask maturation: first, the whisky matures in American ex-bourbon casks, which provide vanilla, honey, and soft sweetness. This is followed by a finish in European Oloroso sherry casks, which lend depth, dried fruit, and spicy notes to the whisky.
Aroma: Sweet honey, vanilla, dried fruits, cinnamon, and light nutty notes.
Taste: Smooth and balanced with aromas of toffee, raisins, caramel, spices, and fine oak.
