Teeling Stout Cask Finish – 46% vol. – 0.7 L

The Teeling Stout Cask Finish is a creative Irish Whiskey from the Teeling Whiskey Company in Dublin. It is based on the popular Teeling Small Batch, a blended whiskey made from grain and malt whiskey, which were initially matured separately in ex-bourbon casks and then blended together. Subsequently, the whiskey received a finish in casks that had previously held strong stout beer (e.g., "200 Fathoms Imperial Stout" from Galway Bay Brewery) – which gives it a special depth of flavor. 

Aroma: Notes of dark chocolate, truffle, tart apples and a light sea breeze.

Taste: Sweet malt notes merge with toasted barley, tart fruits and black cherries.

Finish: Medium length with nuances of Seville oranges, oat biscuits and honeycomb, rounded off by creamy sweetness.
