A warm welcome from the Wild Hebridean Sea – Talisker Storm is a composition of Talisker of various ages, matured in both first-fill and refill casks.

Tasting 1

Nose: A pleasant melange of young fruits, some peat, and peppery hints. Sweet, malty aromas with a little mint and sea air. Young, but really well-balanced. Palate: Lots of smoke with big notes of earthy peat. Stronger than the 10-year-old. Then fruitier notes unfold with pear and berries, as well as salty undertones. Tasting 2

Nose: Initially reserved, but spicy with hints of burnt matches; fresh, clean, and with increasing complexity, like an approaching storm. Honeyed maltiness with ripe, red berry fruits. Well-balanced, mature smoke on a stormy sea with salty, fresh, clean notes and an oily explosion of pepper. Body: Medium-bodied. Palate: Initially sweetly ripe and rich, then very spicy and increasingly stormy as heat builds. Pure, mouth-filling sweetness combines with deep, nutty smokiness. Elegantly refined with a good balance between sweetness, smoke, and salt. Finish: Clean and of medium length. Warming with lingering, smooth notes of burnt peat ash.
