In the picturesque coastal town of Campbeltown, once known as the 'whisky capital of the world,' stands the Springbank Distillery, a family business with over 200 years of history.

Its 10-year-old Single Malt is a testament to the traditional craft of whisky making. Production follows a meticulous process, from the in-house malting of barley to distillation, with the distillery being one of the few in Scotland to carry out every step in-house.

This whisky matures for a full ten years, 60% in Bourbon casks and 40% in Sherry casks, to achieve additional complexity. The use of these casks not only gives it a multifaceted aroma but also a balanced combination of sweetness and spice.

Tasting Notes:

Nose: A lively introduction to Springbank's flagship malt, with a distinct cereal note, along with notes of gooseberries, mango, vanilla pods, grapes, and honeycomb.

Taste: The fruit and cereal notes continue on the palate with notes of oatmeal, barley malt, and orange pulp. Notes of heather honey, hard toffee, nutmeg, and cinnamon develop.

Finish: A characteristic sea salt note and a hint of peat smoke complete this dram.
