Tasting Notes:

Nose: The maturation in Caribbean rum casks gives this Smokehead a hint of smoke and fiery peat, followed by soothing citrus and tropical fruits. Are there perhaps marshmallows and bacon in there too?

Palate: A fearlessly rich and peaty punch, thick oils and invigorating sea spray, mellowed with dried spices, banana and dark wood.

Finish: The safety of the mainland is in sight. Notes of caramel and cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla provide a delicate contrast to the lingering smokiness.
