Slyrs Single Malt 43% vol. 0.7 l Gift Pack with Glass

The Slyrs Single Malt is a Bavarian whisky. It is aged in new American white oak barrels with a capacity of approximately 225 liters. The Slyrs matures for 3 to 6 years before bottling. Limited bottling.

Previously, Slyrs was bottled as a 3-year-old vintage whisky. This approach has now been abandoned, which opens up the possibility of increasing the complexity of the 3-year-old with additions of older whisky.

We are using the tastings from the 2009 bottling. The ranking values and taste assessments are taken from the 2011 bottling.

Tasting 1

Nose: Strong vanilla aromas with citrus and a slight sharpness. Palate: Vanilla, caramel, slightly sweet and spicy. Finish: Medium length with notes of dry caramel. dramming.com

Tasting 2

Very creamy on the nose with aromas of vanilla and fruit. Malty on the palate with hints of mocha chocolate. Slightly bitter notes with dry hints of wood on the finish. celticmalts.com
