The Scarabus Specially Selected is a characterful single malt that impresses with its carefully chosen cask maturation. After classic aging in ex-bourbon casks, this whisky was composed with a special focus on balance, fruit, and structure. Bottled at 46% vol., without chill filtration and with natural color, it displays a clear, approachable, yet complex style.
Nose: Pleasant notes of vanilla, ripe yellow fruits like pear and apple, accompanied by a hint of citrus and light oak spice.
Taste: Round and smooth with aromas of sweet malt, toffee, honey, fruit compote, and subtle hints of spice.
Finish: Medium length, harmonious and warm with a gentle sweetness and subtle woody notes.
