Nikka Coffey Malt 45% vol. 0.7 l

The Nikka Coffey Malt was distilled in Coffey Stills, which are usually used for the production of grain whiskies.

It was named after its inventor Aeneas Coffey, whose invention was later adopted by the Scots. The Nikka Coffey Malt is made from 100% malt.

Tasting 1

Tasting 2

Nose: Seductive and rich with vanilla oak, banana milk and soft banana candy. Slight hints of honey with vanilla and cinnamon bread (hot, crispy rolls). Coconut milk with Cadbury Summer Roll (slightly roasted peanuts and coconut flakes in milk chocolate). Also eggnog. After some time, the creamy sweetness fades, making way for herbal notes and rich malt. When a little water is added, hints of honeybush tea with a touch of vanilla and a dash of milk unfold. Palate: Very soft and buttery. Slightly spicy and beautifully mature with honey. Arnott's Milk Coffee (Australian biscuit brand), biscuit and/or Malt-O-Milk biscuit (from Arnott's). Then notes of chai-spiced banana bread. Grated coconut with dark chocolate. Eggnog with nutmeg. Dried oats. After a while, celery sticks with malt. Diluted milk with honeybush tea.
