The Nc'nean Organic Single Malt Whisky, pronounced 'Nook-knee-an', is an expression of pure craftsmanship, born from the picturesque Morvern peninsula. This young distillery, founded by Annabel Thomas in 2017, is dedicated to sustainable whisky production.

The Nc'Nean Organic Single Malt Whisky comes from a distillery powered by 100% renewable energy and is characterized by organic farming and processes. The barley is organically grown, and fermentation takes place in long cycles to develop complex aromas.

Only carefully selected cask types are used for maturation: ex-Bourbon and specially crafted STR (Shaved, Toasted and Re-charred) wine casks, which give the whisky a unique depth and variety of aromas.

Tasting Notes:

Aroma: The Nc'nean Organic Single Malt opens with a bouquet of delicate citrus notes, followed by a hint of ripe peaches and a touch of almond blossom. The gentle sweetness of honey clings to the nose, underpinned by a subtle, floral freshness.

Taste: On the palate, a symphony of flavors unfolds: vanilla and coconut, stemming from the Bourbon casks, harmonize with spicy notes of cinnamon and ginger. The STR wine casks contribute to the complexity with a light berry fruitiness and a hint of dark chocolate.

Finish: The finish is long and warming with a lingering sweet malt character that combines with an elegant oak note and a hint of dried apricots to provide a fulfilling conclusion.
