Nc'nean Aon – PX Sherry Single Cask #17-288 – Single Malt Scotch Whisky 59.1% vol. 0.7l

The Nc'nean Distillery on Scotland's west coast stands for modern, sustainable whisky production. It uses organic barley, operates carbon-neutrally, and bottles its whiskies without additives or chill-filtration. With the limited Aon Series ("Aon" means "one" in Gaelic), Nc'nean presents exclusive single cask bottlings with a special character.

The Single Cask #17-288 was matured in a former Pedro Ximénez (PX) sherry cask. PX casks are known for their intense sweetness and dark fruit notes – and in combination with the fruity Nc'nean new make, they produce a rich, full-bodied aroma. The bottling was done at natural cask strength, uncolored and unchill-filtered – pure character, entirely in keeping with the distillery's philosophy.

Tasting Notes (may vary slightly by batch):

• Nose: Dates, raisins, dark chocolate, ripe cherries, and a hint of spice.

• Palate: Full and sweet with notes of figs, toffee, sherry, nuts, and a touch of oak.

• Finish: Long, warming, and fruity with pleasant spice and soft wood structure.
