This whisky is double distilled, and its unique smoky profile comes from the use of heavily peated malt. The slow distillation in copper pot stills and the long maturation period of 21 years contribute to the whisky's complexity.

Both ex-Bourbon and ex-Sherry casks were used for maturation, which impart additional aromas and depths to the whisky. The careful selection and combination of these casks by Springbank's experienced master blenders guarantee an exceptional taste experience.

The aroma of the Longrow 21 Years Release 2023 is dominated by elegant peat smoke, accompanied by sweet notes of honey, ripe fruits, and a hint of spice.

On the palate, a complex interplay of smoky and spicy elements unfolds, harmonizing perfectly with the sweetness of caramel, vanilla, and dark chocolate. Subtle notes of dried fruits, oak, and a pinch of salt give the whisky additional depth.
