The Loch Lomond Oloroso Sherry Cask Finish is an expressive Highland Single Malt from the versatile Loch Lomond Distillery. The distillery is known for its flexible distillation technique, which allows for the creation of different whisky styles. This bottling combines the typical Loch Lomond character with a finish in Oloroso sherry casks, which adds additional depth and fruity spice to the whisky.

The whisky initially matured in American oak casks before undergoing a secondary maturation in Oloroso sherry casks made from Spanish oak. The bourbon casks contribute vanilla, malt sweetness, and a soft structure, while the Oloroso casks add dark fruits, nutty notes, and spicy depth.

Aroma: Notes of raisins, dark fruits, vanilla, caramel, and a fine spice note.

Taste: Round and soft with aromas of dried fruits, toffee, nuts, cinnamon, and gentle oak spice.

Finish: Medium-long and balanced with fruity sweetness and a light sherry spice.
