Loch Lomond 12 Year Old Inchmoan is the smoky edition of a 12-year-old single malt from Loch Lomond.
In terms of taste, it has a smoky, but also very fruity character. It is bottled at 46% ABV and without chill-filtration.
Tasting Notes:
Nose: Dry, smoldering peat smoke with vanilla syrup and burnt black pepper.
Taste: Sweet, medicinal peat and smoked bacon lead to roasted coffee beans with spice notes of clove and star anise. Warming spiciness combines with green apple and pear as the fruit character develops.
Finish: Long, waxy peat with a citrus hop note and gooseberry.
