The Lindores Abbey “The Exclusive Cask” Rum / Sauternes Finish #20/0343 is an exceptional single cask bottling from the historic Lindores Abbey, the birthplace of Scotch whisky. This limited edition combines two completely different cask worlds: tropical sweetness from rum casks and fruity elegance from a Sauternes wine cask. The result is a single malt with impressive depth, opulent sweetness, and a multi-layered structure.
This whisky was bottled at 53.0 % vol., non-chill-filtered and uncoloured, allowing its natural character to shine through perfectly.
Aroma: Rich notes of honey, white grapes, tropical fruits, vanilla and a light coconut sweetness – combined with gentle spices.
Taste: Full-bodied and round with aromas of mango, candied pineapple, peach, creamy toffee, light caramel and an elegant wine sweetness. Subtle rum spice underpins the profile.
Finish: Long, sweet and fruit-driven with floral notes, fine oak spice and a warm, creamy aftertaste.
