The Lindores Abbey Distillery Elliot’s Exclusive Cask Palo Cortado Finish is a particularly expressive single malt from the historic Lindores Abbey in Scotland. The distillery is considered one of the most important in the whisky revival and is closely linked to the earliest known Scottish whisky production. This exclusive edition is part of a limited series directly from the cask (#244014) and has a finish in Palo Cortado sherry casks – a rare and fascinating sherry variety that gives the whisky depth, elegance and complexity.

The whisky was bottled at cask strength with 51.6% vol. and was not chill-filtered, which allows an intense, rich aroma profile to unfold.

Aroma: Rich bouquet with notes of dried fruits, dates, almonds, toffee, vanilla and a gentle spice.

Taste: Full-bodied and complex with deep sherry notes, plum compote, candied orange peel, caramelized sugar, nuts and subtle spice nuances.

Finish: Long, elegant and warming with lingering fruit sweetness, soft oak and subtle spice.
