Kilchoman Distillery, located on the Scottish island of Islay, is one of the region's younger distilleries, combining traditional production methods with modern quality.
Machir Bay is the distillery's flagship product, named after the bay of the same name – a place with a rugged coastal character and a strong connection to nature.

Production & Maturation
This single malt matured in a mixture of ex-bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks. A high proportion of bourbon casks provides fresh, bright wood notes, while the sherry cask influence gives the whisky depth and fruitiness.
Bottled at 46% vol., non-chill filtered and without artificial colorants – an authentic representative of its style.

Tasting Notes

• Aroma: Citrus zest, vanilla, sea breeze, and light peat smoke.

• Taste: Fruity notes of peach, pear, and dried fruits, complemented by sweet malt, honey, and balanced peat smoke notes.

• Finish: Medium to long, with a combination of sherry fruit, black pepper, and salty sea air.
