Kanosuke Single Malt Japanese Whisky 48% vol. 0.7 L

The young Japanese distillery Kanosuke is located in southern Japan, where the East China Sea meets Fukiagehama. There, one of Japan's most beautiful sandy beaches stretches for about 50 kilometers along the coast of Kagoshima Prefecture. On the white dunes of Fukiagehama, a new viewpoint has existed since 2017: The Kanosuke Distillery!

This Kanosuke Single Malt is the first permanently available standard bottling from the Kanosuke Distillery. It was distilled in three individual pot stills manufactured in Japan. These copper stills of the Kanosuke Distillery differ in the shape of their neck and the angle of the lyne arm.

The Kanosuke Single Malt matured in American Oak Casks that had previously held the excellent "Mellowed Shochu" of the parent company Komasa Jyozo. It is bottled at 48% vol. alcohol without coloring or chill filtration.



Tasting Notes:

Nose: Honey, banana, caramel, and lemon tea

Taste: Honey, quince, cinnamon, ginger, and notes of nuts

Finish: Long sweet finish.
