The Isle of Jura Distillery, located on the small Scottish island of Jura, combines traditional craftsmanship with a unique style – mild, fruity, and with a subtle maritime note. The "Perspective" series marks a new form of expression for the distillery, with Edition No.01 standing out particularly with an alcohol content of 46.5% vol.

Production & Cask Maturation
This bottling initially matured in ex-bourbon casks, before a portion of the whisky received a finish in Oloroso sherry casks. This gives this version a fruity depth alongside a delicate quality. Bottled at 46.5% vol., without chill-filtration and without coloring – typical for high-quality single malts.

Tasting Notes

• Aroma: Ripe stone fruits such as peach and apricot, dried orange peel, honey, and walnuts. Taste: Smooth yet lively with notes of citrus zest, vanilla malt, some oak, and chocolate.

• Finish: Long-lasting with roasted nuts, salted caramel, and a hint of cinnamon.
