The Isle of Jura Distillery is located on the remote island of Jura on Scotland's west coast. Despite its isolated location, the distillery has established itself firmly in the world of Scotch whisky. Its whiskies are known for a gentle style, paired with maritime influences and a fine selection of casks.

The Jura 18 Year Old matured first in ex-Bourbon casks made from American white oak and then received a finish in high-quality red wine casks from Bordeaux. This combination provides depth, complexity, and an expressive fruit note. Bottled at 44% vol., the whisky offers more intensity than classic standard bottlings – yet remains elegant and well-rounded.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Ripe dark fruits, red berries, chocolate, and toasted oak.

• Taste: Full-bodied with notes of plums, cinnamon, toffee, nuts, and a fine wine sweetness.
