Hazelburn 8 Year Old Oloroso Cask 2025 48.2% vol. 0.7l

Hazelburn is one of the three whisky brands of the traditional Springbank Distillery in Campbeltown, Scotland. The distillery is known for its artisanal production, where all steps – from malting to bottling – are carried out on-site. Hazelburn stands for triple-distilled, unpeated whiskies.

This limited edition from 2025 matured for 8 years in former Oloroso sherry casks. The maturation in these Spanish oak casks gives the whisky an intense color and a complex variety of aromas.

Tasting Notes:

Nose: Ripe dark fruits, raisins, dates, roasted nuts, and a hint of dark chocolate.

Palate: Full-bodied and spicy with notes of dried fruit, caramel, cloves, and light wood smoke.

Finish: Long-lasting, warm and sweet with traces of oak, cocoa, and a subtle sherry aftertaste.
