Despite being founded in 1878, The Glenrothes Distillery is one of the lesser-known distilleries in Speyside. Since 2018, whiskies with age statements have been available again; previously, only a vintage concept was offered. This is not least due to the fact that Glenrothes has gained numerous followers in the interim and does not want to limit its growth with vintage concepts. This 12-year-old Glenrothes reflects the typical taste of the distillery: fresh and fruity, sweet and sherry with typical spicy notes.
