The Glenmorangie Distillery, located in the Scottish Highlands, is famous for its towering stills, which produce an exceptionally pure and smooth new make spirit.

The Quinta Ruban 14 Years is a shining example of Glenmorangie's innovation and craftsmanship. After an initial maturation in American white oak casks, this single malt undergoes an additional refinement in hand-selected port wine casks from the renowned Portuguese Quintas.

This second maturation stage, known as "extra-maturation", lasts for two years and imparts a fascinating depth and a palette of rich aromas to the whisky.

Tasting Notes:

Aroma: The Glenmorangie Quinta Ruban opens with a bouquet of dark chocolate and mint, followed by a wave of juicy berries and oranges, leading into a forest of eucalyptus and rosewood.

Taste: On the palate, it presents itself as velvety and complex. A symphony of dark chocolate notes merges with sandalwood and walnuts, interrupted by a fruity sweetness reminiscent of candied fruits and port wine.

Finish: The finish is long and seductive, with lingering notes of sweet tobacco, spicy ginger, and a hint of orange peel, ending in a warm, spicy finale.
