Glenlivet 15 Year Old French Oak Reserve 0.7 l

This Glenlivet from the Speyside whisky region matures for 15 years, partly in new French Limousin oak from the Dordogne (a well-known region to wine connoisseurs).

Limousin oak is characterized by large wood pores, which allows tannins to be released more quickly. The result is a spicy whisky with a mature, soft and full fruitiness.

Tasting

Nose: Strawberries and cream. Vanilla. Intoxicating. Palate: persistent, slippery-smooth, biscuit-like maltiness, spicy mid-palate. Many flavors develop. Finish: creamy, fruity.
