Rich and luxurious – this Glengoyne matured for 18 years in selected first-fill sherry casks from Jerez in Spain. It replaces the previous 17-year-old Glengoyne.

Tasting 1

Eye: Medium gold with an intense glow. Nose: Red apples, ripe melon and fresh banana. Heavenly and well-balanced with aromas of hot porridge coated with brown sugar. Palate: Full-bodied, balanced and rich. Soft fruits, marzipan and walnut; then warm spices and dry cocoa. Long-lasting. Orange marmalade. Finish: Long-lasting and dry. Rating: Of remarkable depth. Tasting 2

Nose: Chocolate-covered nuts, fizzy Haribo and orange candies. Fruity notes unfold with grapes, mango and grapefruit. Alongside the bitter hints of grapefruit, the sherry also makes itself known with raisins, brandy butter and slightly dry Christmas cake. Palate: Big and full-bodied. Creamy and smooth.
