The GlenDronach Traditionally Peated replaces the Glendronach Peated in the core range.
Like its predecessor, the new Glendronach Traditionally Peated Single Malt uses peated barley malt, recalling the beginnings of the Glendronach Distillery, which was founded in 1824 by James Allardice, as the use of peated barley for whisky production was common practice at the time.
The Glendronach Traditionally Peated matured in Pedro Ximénez, Oloroso Sherry and Port wine casks and is bottled at 48% ABV.
Tasting Notes:
Nose: Honey, toffee and a hint of smoke.
Palate: Burnt orange, cloves and smoked blackberries.
Finish: Long finish with liquorice and fruits, somewhat earthy.
