The GlenAllachie Sinteis Series Part III is a limited special bottling from the Speyside distillery GlenAllachie, known for its creative cask policy under Master Blender Billy Walker. The Sinteis Series stands for experimental maturation and special cask combinations. This edition was distilled in 2014 and bottled in 2026, matured for 11 years, and is bottled at a powerful 57.4% vol. at cask strength – naturally non-chill filtered and uncoloured.
The whisky matured in a combination of French Virgin Oak Casks and Oloroso Sherry casks. The fresh French oak brings intense spice notes, structure, and tannins, while the Oloroso casks provide dark fruits, nuttiness, and sweet depth. This combination creates a complex and multi-layered aromatic profile.
Aroma: Dark berries, raisins, vanilla, spices, toasted wood, and fine chocolate notes.
Taste: Powerful and full-bodied with flavors of plums, toffee, cocoa, spices, cinnamon, and intense oak spice.
