The Glen Scotia Double Cask Rum Cask Finish is a characterful Campbeltown single malt from one of Scotland's most traditional distilleries. This bottling combines classic maturation with an exotic accent: After initial aging in first-fill bourbon casks, the whisky receives a finish in selected Demerara rum casks. This creates a harmonious interplay of maritime notes, fruity sweetness, and spicy aromas. It is bottled at 46% vol., without chill-filtration and in natural color.
Aroma: Sweet molasses, caramelized sugar, coconut, banana, tropical fruits and a delicate sea breeze.
Taste: Full-bodied, warm and sweet with notes of peach, banana, dark molasses, vanilla and gentle spice.
Finish: Long, soft and fruit-driven with a warm, spicy depth.
