The Glen Scotia Double Cask Bordeaux Red Wine Cask Finish is an elegant single malt from the traditional Campbeltown Distillery. After initial maturation in American ex-bourbon casks, this whisky was finished in Bordeaux red wine casks. This finish adds extra fruit, structure, and subtle tannins, combined with Glen Scotia's classic maritime style. It is bottled at 46% ABV, non-chill-filtered, and with natural color.
Aroma: Fruity notes of dark berries, cherries, and cassis, accompanied by vanilla, caramel, and a subtle spice.
Taste: Full-bodied with a harmonious combination of red fruits, malt, oak, spices, and elegant red wine tannins.
