The Fettercairn Distillery is located in the eastern Highlands and was founded in 1824. It is known for its special cooling ring technology, where water runs down the neck of the still – this ensures a particularly pure, light distillate style. In recent years, Fettercairn has increasingly established itself among whisky connoisseurs with innovative, limited editions.

The WH14 Small Batch 001 is a limited small-batch bottling with a robust 51.2% vol. and was bottled without chill filtration and without coloring. It matured in a carefully selected combination of American ex-bourbon and sherry casks, which gives it both depth and a balanced sweetness.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Ripe tropical fruits, vanilla, baked banana, with delicate oak spice and caramel.

• Palate: Full-bodied with notes of honey, toasted nuts, candied orange, spices, and a slight sherry influence.

• Finish: Long and complex with lingering sweetness, dried fruits, and spicy wood notes.
