"Scotland's Little Gem" has once again collaborated with a family-run German winery to create something special: highly limited single casks that combine the expertise of two masters in their field.
Weingut Singer-Fischer, located in Ingelheim in Rheinhessen, cultivates red and white grape varieties on twelve hectares. The Edradour 2012/2024 gained its unique character through a 21-month finishing period in a St. Laurent barrique from the traditional winery. This grape variety, rare in Germany, gives the red wine a balanced fruit acidity, rustic nuances, and elegant tannins. The result: a dry, spicy single malt with aromas of black cherry and a hint of vanilla.
Another highlight is the Edradour 2012/2024, also ten years old, which, after its time in a Bourbon barrel, received a Spätburgunder (Pinot Noir) finish in a French oak barrique. With its cask strength of 53.9% vol., it nevertheless presents itself surprisingly light and combines notes of sweet raspberry with creamy vanilla.
