The Edradour 12 Year Old Caledonia is a single malt whisky from the Edradour Distillery in the Scottish Highlands, founded in 1825 east of Pitlochry. This is a single malt whisky from one of Scotland's smallest whisky distilleries. The distillery is located about 40 kilometers north of Perth, nestled in the Scottish Highlands, and places great emphasis on tradition.
The Edradour Distillery is now part of the independent bottler Signatory and is the producer of the Edradour 12 Year Old Caledonia whisky. This stylish whisky was named by the famous Scottish composer and singer Dougie MacLean. It receives a 42-month finish in Oloroso sherry casks. Its 46% vol. make the Caledonia robust in flavor.
The Edradour Caledonia has a beautiful amber color and develops a dense and distinctly sherry-heavy aroma during its maturation, dominated by dried fruits and honey. The experienced nose of a whisky connoisseur also detects subtle nuances of tobacco and leather. A peppery spice and a clear sherry taste in the full body can also be discerned, as can caramel and roasted almond. The finish is dry with a hint of cocoa powder.

Taste: Strong and full-bodied with a slight sharpness, sherry and cocoa notes with some oak.
Finish: Medium length. Spicy with notes of oak and dark chocolate.
