The Campbeltown Connection 10 Years is an expressive Blended Malt Scotch Whisky that unites the characteristic styles of the traditional whisky region Campbeltown. For this limited edition (age: at least 10 years), the independent bottler North Star Spirits has combined selected malt whiskies from the legendary distilleries Springbank and Glen Scotia and bottled them at a robust 50.7% vol. – unfiltered and without coloring.
Nose: Salty-maritime freshness meets ripe malt, honey, vanilla, and subtle smoke and oak spice. The typical Campbeltown sea breeze and subtle spice lend depth and complexity to the bouquet.
Palate: Full-bodied and balanced with sweet malt, caramel, dried fruits, and spicy notes. Harmonious maritime spice and a hint of leather or toffee round off the enjoyment.
Finish: Long and warming with light smoke, salty depth, and a pleasant, peppery spice in the aftertaste.
