Bushmills Black Bush 1 l - Irish Blend

Bushmills' Black Bush is a blended whiskey from Ireland's oldest continuously operating distillery. The whiskey matures in Spanish Oloroso casks, to which a small amount of single grain is added. A wonderful, sherry-forward whiskey. Here in the 1-liter bottling.


Tasting 1
Nose: fresh oak, mellowed with sherry. Palate: full of flavors, wonderfully balanced, rounded. Whiskey: oaky, toffee, buttery, with Bushmills' typical rosewater character. Finish: a grainy but more Irish dryness. Michael Jackson, Whisky Magazine

Tasting 2
Nose: complex and enticing. The sherry is clear, medium, and a good background for the malt and grain. Palate: surprisingly smooth. The grain provides clarity and lightness, highlighted by a peppery spice. Finish: long, spicy, grapefruit with some toasty oak notes. Jim Murray, Whisky Magazine
