Bruichladdich Distillery is located on the west coast of the Scottish island of Islay and stands for artisanally produced, transparent, and characterful whiskies. Under the name Port Charlotte, the distillery bottles its heavily peated single malts – smoky, maritime, yet elegant. The Port Charlotte 10 Year Old is the flagship of this line.
The whisky was made from 100% Scottish barley and matured in a combination of first-fill Bourbon, second-fill, and French wine casks. It is bottled at a robust 50% vol., is non-chill filtered and uncoloured – fully in line with the transparency and quality for which Bruichladdich stands.
