The Bowmore 9 Years Old is an accessible and balanced Islay Single Malt from the traditional Bowmore Distillery. The distillery is one of Scotland's oldest and is known for its harmonious style, which combines gentle peat smoke with fruity and maritime notes. Bottled at 40 % vol., this whisky presents itself as soft and balanced – ideal as an introduction to the world of Islay whiskies.
The Bowmore 9 Years Old matured predominantly in American ex-bourbon casks, which give the whisky its vanilla notes and a pleasant malty sweetness. A portion also matured in sherry casks, which imparts additional fruitiness and spicy depth to the whisky.

Nose: Light peat smoke notes, vanilla, honey, citrus fruits and a hint of salty sea air.
