The Bowmore Distillery on the Scottish island of Islay, founded in 1779, is one of Scotland's oldest legal distilleries.
With its 18-year-old single malt, Bowmore demonstrates its characteristic style: a harmonious combination of maritime freshness, peat smoke, and sherry cask maturation.
Maturation & Cask:
This whisky matured for 18 years, including in carefully selected Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, which significantly contributes to the depth and complexity of its bouquet.
It was bottled at 43% ABV – a level that carries the aroma while remaining accessible. Tasting Notes:

Aroma: Creamy caramel, ripe dried fruits such as sultanas and plums, accompanied by fine peat smoke and salty sea air. Taste: Dark chocolate, orange zest, ginger, toffee, deep sherry wood and a subtle smoky oak.

Finish: Long-lasting, elegant, with smoky and nutty notes, a slight salty trace, and spicy depth.
