Benrinnes 15 Year Old Flora and Fauna is a single malt whisky from Speyside, Scotland. The Benrinnes distillery was founded in 1826 and has a long and eventful history. Over the years, it has undergone several changes of ownership and was modernized in the 1950s. Today, it is part of the Diageo group and produces whiskies of the highest quality.
The production of Benrinnes 15 Year Old Flora and Fauna begins with barley grown in the vicinity of the distillery. After malting, it is distilled in copper pot stills handcrafted at the distillery. The whisky then matures for at least 15 years in selected oak casks before being bottled.
The aroma of Benrinnes 15 Year Old Flora and Fauna is characterized by sweet notes of vanilla and caramel, accompanied by fruity notes such as pear and apricot.
On the palate, it is full-bodied and complex, with notes of honey, spices, and oak.
