Tasting 1

Eye: Fresh summer gold. Nose: A fresh and vibrant combination of fresh, green orchard fruits, ginger, and hints of mandarin develop. Creamy vanilla with delicate notes of mint and a mild twist of citrus. All these aromas are held together in the background by sweet barley. Palate: Toasted oak spices flow through green apple peel and dried apricots, maturing into hints of peach and soft banana. Eye: Clean. Medium to intense gold. Nose: The aromas are of good intensity, full-bodied, and malty. Green and red apples, hints of ripe banana, and a handful of nuts. Very creamy after a while. Palate: Full-bodied and very spicy, yet sweet with unfolding apple peels, malt, and ripe fruits. Finish: Fresh, medium-long, with spices and hints of tannins that linger until the end. With added water: Further fruit notes and slightly tarry casks. Less spicy on the palate and directly accessible. Overall: Of great quality with strong notes of Benriach.
