The Ardnahoe Cask Strength – Batch No. 2 is a powerful, limited bottling from the young Islay distillery Ardnahoe Distillery. This special edition celebrates the distillery's craftsmanship and showcases the region's style in its most intense form: straight from the cask, without chill filtration and unfiltered, bottled at a robust 61% vol. to allow the full spectrum of aromas and cask influence to be experienced.
Nose: Distinct maritime notes and salty sea breeze meet peat smoke, bonfire smoke, vanilla, and white pepper.
Taste: Full-bodied and powerful with strong smoke and wood notes, sweet malt, spices, and a slightly spicy oak structure.
Finish: Long, intense, and warming with pleasant peatiness, peppery spice, and salty depth.
