This whisky first matures in American oak casks before receiving a finish in carefully selected port wine casks. This additional maturation gives it a refined fruitiness and depth that sets it apart from other bottlings.
Tasting Notes
Aroma: Fruity notes of red berries, ripe plums and a hint of oranges. Subtle peat notes, vanilla and a touch of spices complement the bouquet.
