The Ardbeg Distillery on the Scottish island of Islay is known for its intensely smoky, yet balanced whiskies. With the Wee Beastie, Ardbeg presents a particularly young and wild bottling – powerful, untamed, and with an impressive aromatic complexity for its age.
The whisky matured for five years in a combination of ex-bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks. Despite the short maturation, it impresses with astonishing depth, complexity, and typical Ardbeg smoke. Bottled at a robust 47.4% vol., naturally without chill-filtration or artificial coloring.
